Farmers gear up for Republic Day tractor march

Even as the Union government has decided to resume talks with the farmer leaders, agitating farmer unions have decided to continue with the countrywide tractor march on Republic Day.
Even on Monday farmer leaders from the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha have the detailed strategy for the tractor march. As per the programme, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Republic Day, farmers' tractors will be stationed at shopping malls, silos, toll plazas, BJP offices, or along roadsides.
The farmer leaders said that depending on local conditions, the local leaders of both organizations will ensure that thousands of tractors are parked at one of these five designated locations for an hour and a half.
