Congress says LoPs denied invite to President's dinner for Putin
The Daily Guardian

Even as several dignitaries have been invited to the official dinner being hosted by President Droupadi Murmu for Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Congress on Friday said that neither of the Leaders of the Opposition has been invited.
Congress General Secretary and communication in-charge Jairam Ramesh announced this on X.
"There has been speculation over whether the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha have been invited for tonight's official dinner in honour of President Putin. The two LoPs have not been invited," he wrote.
Rahul Gandhi is the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, while Mallikarjun Kharge holds the post in the Rajya Sabha.
On Friday, Kharge, who is also Congress president, left for Bengaluru for a pre-scheduled programme.
