Bajwa hails Punjabis for relief works, claims CM 'abandoned' state

Hailing the local communities for their prompt and diligent efforts in aiding the flood victims and plugging the breaches in several flood-affected areas of Punjab, the Leader of the Opposition (LOP), Partap Singh Bajwa on Wednesday took shots at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led administration has "failed miserably" to demonstrate efficiencies and keenness in controlling floods and then launching successful rescue operations.

"After getting the photoshoot done for a couple of days in flood-affected areas, the Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has left for Bengaluru leaving the Punjabis at the mercy of Almighty. Meanwhile, the headless state has been striving on its own in such a natural calamity. Punjab CM is nothing more than a puppet, who dances to the tunes of AAP Delhi leadership. Meanwhile, he has left for Bengaluru on the instructions of AAP Delhi", Bajwa added.
