No casualties reported as fire brought under control, PM Modi calls UP CM Yogi Adityanath

A fire broke out at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela being held in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj on Sunday.
Visuals from the site showed plumes of smoke emerging. Fire brigades reached the spot upon receiving information to extinguish the flames.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached the site of the fire and spoke to officials and firefighting teams on the spot.
Later Uttar Pradesh minister A K Sharma said that the fire at Maha Kumbh was due to an explosion of three cooking gas cylinders and reassured that there has been no casualties in the mishap.
