Trewin takes the honours at Pirates end of season awards night

PA announcer Phil Westren congratulated the coaches and players on their placing, which was quite some achievement after enduring a difficult start to the campaign. Also, thanks were expressed to sponsors, volunteers and supporters, and all who contribute to the Cornish Pirates cause, including the new consortium owners.

Will Trewin was rewarded for his outstanding season by winning both the player of the year and players;' player of the year.

In his three seasons with the Cornish Pirates, Trewin made 66 appearances and scored 20 tries. He has been quick to learn and showing continual improvement, has developed into a very fine player. Sadly, Trewin is off to join reformed Worcester Warriors this summer, nut departs with the club's best wishes.
