A HOLIDAY park in St Ives has been named the best in England in the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.

Polmanter Touring Park won gold in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year category at the national awards.
The family-run park received the award at a ceremony in Brighton on June 4, recognising its commitment to quality, guest experience and investment in its facilities.
Polmanter, which secured its place in the national finals by winning gold at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in 2024, was one of three finalists in its category, whittled down from more than 1,800 entries in 21 regional competitions.
