FORM: DE KOCK-TRAINED COLT MADE AN EXCELLENT START TO HIS RACING CAREER

BIG RUNNER. Muzi Yeni has made his ride in Race 4 at Turffontein on Sunday, Future Date, his value bet on the card. Picture: JC Photographs.

Tipping is not an easy task, so I was glad our value bet last week, Max The Magician, came home. He gave me a winner and hopefully followers of this column were able to cash in on that victory as well.
Racing tomorrow takes place at Hollywoodbets Durbanville while racing on Sunday is at Turffontein on the Inside track.
I am riding at both meetings, but of course we will be focusing on the Turffontein card for our followers.
There is some competitive racing on offer and I think we could possible guide the followers in the right direction and hopefully they'll be able to turn over a decent profit on the day.
I have a full book of rides on the day and once again I'll be hoping to get into the winners enclosure.
Race 1 is a Maiden Plate for three-year-old fillies over 1450m and it is essential to see the betting support on the unraced runners because this will be your best guide to their chances.
I ride War Talk who returns from a break but has some fair form to her name and I'll be hoping to run into the money.
Flying World ran a far better race when finishing nicely into second last time out. With further natural improvement she sets the standard and is the horse we all have to beat.
Comic Artist was slightly disappointing in her last start when behind Flying World, but she wasn’t far behind and should be one of the main dangers.
Ringa Ringa Roses improved nicely on her debut run and a repeat of her last start will see her finish right there and she is one for the shortlist.
Race 2 is a Maiden Plate for three-year-olds over 1450m and I ride Emerald City who has improved in his latest couple of starts. However, further improvement will be required for him to feature.

Peace fragile, but a gift we must give
As a ceasefire in Gaza starts to take hold today, hopefully, the words of Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel should give us all pause for contemplation: \"Mankind must remember that peace is not God's gift to his creatures; peace is our gift to each other.
