Multiple hues of luck

My oldest son, visiting my youngest in Paris last week, fell down the Metro steps and broke his arm.

Whoooops went the manchild. He was unlucky. But luckily the stairs were crowded so he fell just two steps, says the younger son. Luckily it was only a fracture, says the patient. Luckily it was his left arm, notes his granny on seeing the photograph sent from the French hospital where he was X-rayed and patched up with old-skool Plaster of Paris, naturally.
