SMITH: TARGETS RETURN TO THE PODIUM AT OLYMPICS
Golden girl is one of eight South African swimmers competing in the gala in Paris.
Tatjana Smith admits she is under pressure as she prepares to lead South Africa's medal charge, but the accomplished swimmer says she has prepared well and is ready to hit the water at the Paris Olympics.
Smith, who earned two of the country's three medals at the Tokyo Games three years ago, will open her campaign in the 100m breaststroke heats tomorrow, and she will be targeting a return to the podium in Monday's twolength final after securing silver in Tokyo.
Two days later she will be back in the pool for the 200m breaststroke heats, as she looks to retain her Olympic title in the final on Thursday.
