Boks ready for battle

RUGBY CHAMPS: NEED TO HIT THE GROUND RUNNING AGAINST WALLABIES

The Springboks are fired up and ready for the challenge of the visiting Wallabies when the two teams get their Rugby Championship campaign underway at Ellis Park tomorrow afternoon (kick-off 5:10pm).

By the time the two teams run on the field it will have been four weeks since the Boks last game, against Georgia in Mbombela, and they will need to hit the ground running against a confident Australian team.

Earlier this season after claiming an underwhelming 42-24 win in their first Test against Italy in Pretoria, Bok coach Rassie Erasmus admitted that they had a good training week, but weren't able to transfer that onto the field.

He said they have been hard at work the last few weeks to make sure they don't repeat that against the Wallabies this weekend.
