AUCTION: 116 LOTS ON OFFER AS WINE PRODUCER CELEBRATES LEGACY SPANNING 107 YEARS

Following the record-setting sale of a 1929 KWV Port at its "white glove" inaugural auction last year, KWV returns with an equally remarkable showcase: a meticulously curated selection of 116 lots, celebrating a legacy spanning 107 years.

Profits from the auction will once again be donated to Nation Builder, in support of non-profit organisations driving long-term change in communities.

Legacy and excellence The auction at the Cathedral Cellar presents a collection KWV's most acclaimed fine wines and limited-release pot still brandies — as well as a rare showcase of the "golden era" of Cape fortified and dessert wines: with vintage KWV Ports from the 1940s, a rare KWV White Port and Red Muscadel from the 1960s, a KWV Hanepoot Jerepigo from the 1970s and the marquee lot — a 1930 KWV Muscadel.
