Future is up in the air for striker Osula

WILLIAM Osula is facing talks on his future at Newcastle United with the January transfer window about to open for business.

The Denmark Under-21 international has not featured since November 2 and has now missed 16 games through injury.
He is expected back from an ankle problem in mid-January, but a big decision is due on whether the Magpies look to cash in on the 22-year-old.
Osula was not satisfied with first-team opportunities earlier in the campaign after only making one Premier League start this season away to Leeds.
His only other start, in the Carabao Cup, resulted in him grabbing a brace against Bradford City in the comfortable 4-1 win over the EFL side.
The £10million signing from Sheffield United in 2024 almost left in the summer window when a loan deal with Eintracht Frankfurt was fixed up. But PIF pulled the plug on a loan exit after the German club refused to agree to an obligation to buy once a £21m fee was put in place.
