CLUB DETAILS TICKET POLICY AND THE NUMBERS INVOLVED, WITH A WARNING ABOUT TOUTING...
NEWCASTLE United have confirmed the number of season ticket holders at St James’ Park in a fresh statement to fans to kick off 2026.
Supporters called for transparency last year while there was also a workshop held for fans to get on to the season ticket waiting list after what appeared to be a closed shop for future generations.
A statement read: “We currently have over 35,000 season ticket holders. This equates to approximately 70% of home fans at a typical Premier League match at St James’ Park.
“Of the remaining 30%, the vast majority of these tickets are reserved for our Mags+ and Mags members’ ballot. Remaining tickets are allocated to hospitality clients, club and competition delegates and commercial partners.”
The club also released details of how successful those applying for tickets via the member ballot scheme had been, including how many had opted not to buy a ticket despite ballot success, and those who were able to buy a ticket in the members’ sale.
