OWNER THANKS CUSTOMERS FOR A 'MIRACLE' FEW YEARS
A NORTH East bakery has announced "with a heavy heart" it will soon close.
Sylvester Spinelli and Ana Ribeiro started Eli's Bakery from their kitchen during the Covid lockdowns.
The bakery, which is named after their eldest son, moved from their home to a unit in Killingworth, North Tyneside once restrictions allowed.
The business expanded further in early 2023, moving into a bigger premises on the Mandale Park Industrial Estate in North Shields.
