NEWCASTLE United winger Anthony Gordon has hit back at critics of his performances this season, suggesting they 'distort reality'.
Gordon has had a mixed season this term, scoring 10 goals in the Champions League, becoming only the second English player to reach double figures in a single Champions League.
But his critics have suggested his Premier League form has not hit those heights, where he has only scored four goals - three of them from the penalty spot.
Nonetheless, the England international insists he feels he is having a career best season and feels the perception towards him has changed this term.
