Ace Gordon takes aim at Toon critics

ANTHONY Gordon has snapped back at Newcastle United’s critics and warned: “Never doubt us”.

Gordon slammed home two penalties in Wednesday night's 4-0 Champions League victory against Union Saint-Gilloise in Brussels.

And he is now eyeing three points on the domestic front this weekend as Newcastle welcome Nottingham Forest to St James’ Park looking to get their Premier League campaign back on track.

The Magpies are sitting in 15th place in the Premier League table after a poor start but lifted spirits in midweek, with Gordon one of the main stars.
