A £4.5M project to upgrade nearly 10km of water network in the Tarporley area is underway.

The first phase of the works in Tarporley begins in Organsdale, moving onto Tarporley Road late February
The nine-month project will see United Utilities replacing water mains with new pipeline that is designed to protect against burst and leaks, improving the resilience and reliability of the drinking water network in the area.
It is part of United Utilities' £380m programme to upgrade more than 925km of water mains across the North West in the next five years. More than 159km of these will be in Cheshire.
