Permission granted for changes to countryside cottage

AN OBJECTION arose when changes, including the partial demolition of the dwelling, were put forward near Tarporley.

The full application was made at Laburnum Cottage, Cinder Lane, Clotton Common, Clotton by Andrew Baker.

Planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council were told by Mr Baker that apart from the demolition a two-storey front and side extension and a rear extension to an existing garage was intended.

The re-rendering of existing render, new doors and windows, changes to an existing boundary wall and a replacement gate were included along with a pergola, a new patio and planting beds and the erection of a brick boundary wall.

The two-storey detached dwelling was located in the Countryside, according to a report.
