Event will launch summer open air theatre season at park

CHESTER’S amazing food and drink scene will be celebrated in an unmissable Street Food Weekend at Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre this month.
The event, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29, will officially launch Storyhouse’s 2025 Grosvenor Park season. Entry is free.
Soak up the summer vibes from noon to 7pm on both days with a fantastic selection of food and drink, along with live music, all in the magical surroundings of the open-air festival site.
A host of Chester businesses will showcase the best of the city's culinary community, offering foodie feasts, wine tastings and sweet treats.
The Sandbar Seafood Shack celebrates the best fresh and tasty seafood chosen from bespoke local suppliers and made with passion and care.
Chester Market favourite Nice Bites will offer visitors a range of tempting homemade American-style burgers, hotdogs and sides - all made to its own unique recipes - and the city’s artisan micro bakery Kookaburra, which is renowned for its handcrafted ‘Aussie bakes and cruffins, promises a variety of mouthwatering sweet options.
