YouTube tops as go-to platform for Indian video viewers

Statement made on Wednesday by the video streaming service, online Indians create personal video universes with an average of five different material sources, with YouTube serving as the "foremost" option for video viewing.

According to Google's video streaming platform, with millions of users viewing YouTube on their connected TVs, it has become the platform with the highest rate of growth over the previous five years, citing the popularity of Shorts and content uploads as well as its expanding 'Gen Z' appeal. In a statement, YouTube said that it is the preferred platform for four out of every five online users.
