Uttarakhand High Court Issued Contempt Notice To DoPT Jt Secy Over Non-Compliance With Orders To Supply IFS Sanjeev Chaturvedi's Empanelment Records

The court in its order recorded that, 'Mr. Sanjiv Chaturvedi has contended that he had intimated the respondent about the said Order dated September 03, 2024 vide letter dates September 11, 2024, which is being followed by the reminder.

The Uttarakhand High Court in the case Sanjiv Chaturvedi vs. Vivek Joshi observed and has issued a contempt notice to the Joint Secretary of Centre's Department of Personnel and Training, DoPT for failing to comply with the order of courts to supply records which relates to the process and decision-making of IFS Sanjeev Chaturvedi's empanelment to the position of Joint Secretary at the Centre.
The bench comprising of Justice Alok Kumar Verma was hearing the present matter.
