The Society of Indian Aupassenger car wholesales in India surpassed the ten lakh mark for the first time in the third quarter of this year as automakers pushed units to dealers to meet holiday demand. According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers' (SIAM) most recent statistics, wholesale sales of passenger vehicles climbed by 38% to 10,26,309 units in the third quarter of this year compared to 7,41,442 units in the same period of the previous year.
