Mukund, formerly of Paytm Payments Bank, assumes the role of Group CFO at Lendingkart

In his new position, Barsagade will oversee finance, capital markets, legal, and secretarial functions at Lendingkart, playing a crucial role in driving the company's growth trajectory, as stated by Lendingkart in an April 24 announcement.

Harshvardhan Lunia, Founder and CEO of Lendingkart Group, expressed confidence in Barsagade's ability to contribute significantly to the company's performance enhancement efforts.

Barsagade's move from PPBL follows the recent resignation of Chief Operating Officer (COO) Surinder Chawla, who cited personal reasons and the pursuit of better career opportunities as motivations for his departure.

PPBL has faced challenges, particularly after the Reserve Bank of India's directive on January 31 to curtail most of its services due to regulatory non-compliance.

With a robust background in finance, Barsagade joined PPBL in September 2022, overseeing its financial operations. Prior to this role, he served as CFO at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank and Fino Payments Bank, and held leadership positions in organizations such as GE Capital, Experian, and Transamerica.
