As India approaches the conLclusion of its Lok Sabha elections, S&P Global Market Intelligence has analyzed three possible outcomes and their implications for the country's strategic sectors and overall policy direction
-

Despite the election results, S&P believes that the focus on key sectors such as renewable energy, automotive, electronics, textiles, digital infrastructure, logistics, food production, and services will remain unchanged.
Economic growth, inflation, employment, and foreign policy are pivotal factors influencing voter choices in India, according to the financial information and analytics firm. "Post-election economic momentum will remain strong while inflation is set to moderate despite lingering risks," S&P stated in its analysis.
The ongoing Lok Sabha elections, encompassing 543 seats in seven phases starting on April 19, will conclude on June 1, with vote counting scheduled for June 4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seeking a third term, facing opposition from the Congress party allied with the 27-party INDIA bloc.
