CENTRAL TEAM ASSESSES DROUGHT IMPACT IN PUNE

In response to the prevailing drought conditions exacerbated by a rainfall deficit in parts of the state, a delegation from the Central government conducted a visit to Pune on Tuesday to assess the severity of losses experienced by farmers.

Led by Priya Ranjan, the additional secretary of the agricultural department, the contingent will tour drought-affected regions and engage with farmers during their assessment.
