Allahabad High Court upholds Trial Court order: No error in calling for expert opinion on wife's mental health at stage of evidence

The Allahabad High Court in the case Pooja Gautam v. Neeraj Gautam observed and has upheld the order of the Trial Court while calling for expert opinion on the wife's mental health at the stage of evidence in divorce proceedings.

In the present case, the Appellant-wife approached the High Court wherein it challenged the order of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Hathras.

The court in the case allowed the respondent-husband's application for her medical examination in divorce proceedings instituted by the husband.
