|July 10, 2025
Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu met Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO) General Manager R.K. Singh at her Agrico residential office on Tuesday to raise serious civic issues affecting the Tata lease area. Accompanied by her representative Gunjan Yadav, the legislator expressed concern over deteriorating public services and urged the company to resolve them promptly.
"The residents of the Tata lease area are being deprived of basic civic amenities, which is impacting everyday life," said Sahu. She pointed out irregular road and drain cleaning across the city, leading to waterlogging and foul odour during monsoons. She also raised the issue of long-neglected playground maintenance and lack of grass cutting.
