Orders upgrade of Hotwar Sports Complex
Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday directed state officials to expedite the establishment of a Sports University in Ranchi, stressing that the ambitious project must not be bogged down by bureaucratic delays.
He asserted that the proposed institution would provide a robust platform for local athletes to sharpen their skills and seize opportunities at both national and international levels.
High-Level Deliberations on Sports Infrastructure
Chairing a high-powered meeting in the state capital with senior officials from the sports department and Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Soren reviewed plans for upgrading the Mega Sports Complex at Hotwar.
Tourism, art, culture, sports, and youth affairs minister Sudivya Kumar was also present.
