Tabletalk
|June 11, 2025
Table View Primary School’s Senior Choir has been selected to compete in the ATKV Applous Choir Competition National Finals to be held in Pretoria from Wednesday, July 30 to Saturday, August 2 but they need help to cover the cost of travelling from Cape Town to Pretoria, accommodation, meals and logistical costs.
The school’s computer teacher, Ms Bianca Ackerman, started a Back-A-Buddy crowdfunding campaign to raise R750 000, and to date R36 640 has been raised.
The choir is made up of over 110 young voices, aged 9 to 13, representing a beautiful tapestry of South African cultures and communities, said Ms Ackerman.
