Pune: The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination drive in Pune has seen a slow response, with just 44 girls receiving the vaccine in the first five days, according to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
Civic officials attributed the low turnout to ongoing school examinations and reluctance among parents, despite efforts to spread awareness about the benefits of the vaccine.
