BUT O'SULLIVAN BELIEVES A GOOD START WILL BE KEY FOR SPARKS
CLUB stalwart JJ O'Sullivan believes it is essential South Park get a flying start to the 2025-26 Isthmian League season - and the fullback insists if they do, there's no reason why the Sparks can't be playoff contenders.
The Reigate-based club finished in 15th-place in 2024-25 after swapping managers halfway through as Tom Cope departed to be replaced by the former Chipstead management team of Rob Kember, Rob Smith and Dean Sammut.
Previous to that, South Park had claimed ninth-place for three seasons running - falling just short of the South Central Division’s playoffs.
The club's highest-ever finish came in the 2016-17 season when they finished eighth at Step 4.
But O'Sullivan is impressed with the squad that Kember and his coaches have put together, and believes this could be the most successful South Park team yet.
