THIS Christmas the Belfry Shopping Centre is pulling out all the stops to bring panto back to Redhill. (Oh yes it is!)

On Saturday November 22, to celebrate the Belfry’s renowned Christmas Light Switch On events, the team decided to make it panto-themed this year and have enlisted the help of some well-known faces to help.

Simon Bashford, better known as the Redhill Dame, will be hosting the event, following 10 years of panto at the Harlequin Theatre.

Two local theatre companies have created bespoke 20-minute pantos to perform on the day. Redhill-based Coddiwomple Theatre will be performing ‘Buttons and the Wicked Stepmother’ hot off the heels of their Brighton Fringe-winning performance in the summer.

Bow Productions, who recently performed Annie at Chequer Mead Theatre, are bringing their Panto Pronto to the Belfry Community Stage - a mixture of Beauty & the Beast and Little Red Riding Hood.
