Red & Whites beat TJs to secure second place
Surrey Mirror

DORKING secured their highest ever finish in National Two East on Saturday as they swept aside champions Tonbridge Juddians 41-19 at the Big Field.
-
In front of a crowd of more than a 1,000 this game had for much of the season been seen as a potential to be a title decider, however, the men from Kent have been in imperious form for the majority of the campaign and led the table from start to finish.
And with TJs opening up the season with a 45-31 win over Dorking, the hosts were at least able to avenge that loss on Saturday with a 41-19 success before the visitors were presented with the National Two East championship trophy.
The game itself on Saturday, despite little being on the line, was a feisty occasion as a number of scuffles broke out on the pitch and it was the second of the flare ups that had the potential to change the cause of the contest.
