DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION ALSO INCLUDES 190 NEW HOMES
PLANS for up to 190 new homes that could be built on the edge of a Surrey village have been submitted.
The proposed development which is on green belt land, also includes a care home with up to 80 beds.
The 9.7 hectare agricultural site is to the south of Barrow Green Road, west of Oxted town. But developers Croudace Homes Ltd hope to transform the land into a new neighbourhood for families and the elderly.
Located in the green belt, as the land is on the edge of Oxted, the developers will have to prove the benefits of the scheme outweigh any harm to the open land.
