Plans put forward for 250 new homes on edge of Godstone village

PROSPECTIVE plans for up to 250 homes on the edge of a Surrey village have been put forward.

Applicant SPDL envisions a new neighbourhood in Godstone, which could feature a range of new places to live.
The proposed site covers nearly 12 hectares and comprises grassland fields used mainly for grazing.
The developer has asked Tandridge District Council for a formal opinion on what information it should supply for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) - called 'scoping'- ahead of a planning application.
While details are scarce, the proposed scheme will likely comprise 250 new homes, many open spaces and potentially a children's play area.
