HORLEY Cricket Club's women’s team fell just short against Banstead in a Surrey Division Two East match.

Horley put the visitors in and Banstead got off to a cracking start and it looked like a big score was on the cards but Ella Gouldsborough clean bowled their two opening batters, Sienna Simmonds (20) and Lois Woolrych (16).

Horley soon picked up a third wicket, Rams skipper Maya Barnwell (1), with a catch by Charlotte Gouldsborough off Naomi Hamilton's bowling to slow down the runs.
