Sunderland are amongst a glut of Premier League sides monitoring the progress of Watford starlet Othmane Maamma, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a highly impressive start to the new Championship campaign, scoring three goals and assisting one more across a dozen outings since signing for the Hornets from French outfit Montpellier in July.
