Le Bris hopeful Isidor’s future is with Cats

Régis Le Bris remains hopeful that Wilson Isidor can still have a long-term future at Sunderland – despite ongoing speculation linking the striker with a summer exit.

Le Bris admitted that he had spoken with the striker, who is unhappy with his game time at the club, having seen Brian Brobbey firmly establish himself as the first-choice striker over the second half of the campaign.

However, Isidor's form has improved considerably in recent weeks and an excellent cameo in which he scored and played a big part in helping Sunderland to a 3-1 win over Everton served as a timely reminder of his qualities.
