Greenfield goal sees Murton Colliery edge out Helford

A strike from Josh Greenfield proved the difference as Murton Colliery beat Peterlee Helford United 1-0 in the Premier Division League Cup Group clash.

A hat-trick from Jai Young plus two goals apiece from Callum Haswell and Joe Bowman paved the way for Easington Lane WMC to defeat Blackhall Cricket Club.

Easington Colliery Welfare reached double figures as Gary Shaw (5), Thomas Bott (3), Dennis Tapping and James Watson goals saw them beat Seaham Island Social 10-2.
