Donation helps charity build on its work with young people

A Sunderland charity which supports disabled young people and their families is celebrating after receiving a donation which will make a ‘huge difference’.

Grace House, which supports hundreds of local families across the North East, has been awarded a £3,000 donation from housebuilder Persimmon.
Sunderland Deputy Council Leader Kelly Chequer joined representatives from Persimmon to present a cheque after Grace House successfully applied to the housebuilder’s Community Champions scheme.
