Derby Day rivalry to raise funds in Bradley's name
Sunderland Echo
|February 09, 2026
With the countdown is on for the next big derby day, The Bradley Lowery Foundation is channelling fan rivalry for a good cause.
The Donation Derby team will be out and about at shopping centres and businesses.
Ahead of the Tyne-Wear Derby, scheduled for March 22, the charity founded in Brad's name has launched the Donation Derby.
It's a friendly-but slightly competitive - interactive campaign where fan rivalry is transformed into community support, raising vital funds for the foundation, which helps children with life-limiting conditions.
