Free State sports indaba delivers clear game plan for the future

The Free State sports indaba brought key players together for a strategic two-day huddle in Mangaung for a powerful session with the intention to plan and accelerate sport development across the province last week.

The opening day set the pace for a new era of sports governance. The event started by clarifying the roles of major players like the Free State Sport Confederation (FSSC) and the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.

The agenda then accelerated with high-impact presentations exploring sport's potential in Free State: an economic analysis from Dr Hilary Bama, a tourism vision from Jack Tladi, and a guide to funding opportunities from Abigail Bhila of the National Lotteries Commission.
