NORTH road racing and short circuit ace Davey Todd's 2026 season hangs in the balance this week after a big crash at last weekend's Daytona 200.

The Saltburn racer is facing a race against time to be fit before the start of the British Superbike Championship after sustaining breaks in both legs after a high-speed tumble at the famous American event.

And it remains to be seen if he'll even make the start of the international road racing season, which kicks off with the North West 200 in Northern Ireland in May.

Todd (right) had jetted out to the USA with his 8TEN Racing co-owner and teammate Peter Hickman, competing on one of Hickman’s PHR Performance Triumph Street Triple 765 RS machines.
