KEVIN Hayes was the match-winner for Stockton Town as Michael Dunwell’s men remained firmly in the Premier Division promotion race by seeing off Cleethorpes Town at the Map Group UK Stadium.

After a goalless first half, the Anchors struck first as Owen Gallacher’s inch-perfect cross allowed Jake Petitjean to head home seven minutes after the restart.
Former Worksop Town striker Liam Hughes got the visitors back level with nine minutes left, but Stockton secured the points when Hayes struck a typically clinical winner in the final minute.
