Love Island's Adam on becoming family man
Sunday People
|August 17, 2025
LOVE Island lothario Adam Collard says meeting his fiancée and becoming a dad has given him a purpose in life.
Adam, 29 - whose exploits earned him a reputation as a player - is now engaged to TNT Sports presenter Laura Woods.
And the fitness coach reckons that people will see his softer side in the current series of Channel 4’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Echoing a trope from the ITV dating show, he says: “Everyone's followed my relationships since I was 21 and they've been right about me - until they were wrong.
“Laura was the change... I always knew I had it in me but until I found that girl, I was always going to be ‘that’ guy. I was just a stupid, immature boy before.
“On SAS, people see the family man, the caring side – which has always been there, deep down.”
Adam says taking part in the show was an amazing experience, adding: “I like how it’s not ‘produced’. When we’re in there, it doesn't feel like a TV show. It wasn't easy though - the final days were tough.
