HUGO EKITIKE has a lot to prove.
And the France striker is up for the challenge - which is good news because he already has Kop boss Arne Slot snapping at his heels.
The 23-year-old, a £79million signing from Frankfurt, was part of the whopping £446m that Liverpool spent last summer.
And the 6ft-3in forward has started solidly with six goals in 15 appearances.
But Slot is already driving him up the path to greater things - potentially to reach the same level as the man that Ekitike calls his “big brother”: Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe.
