MARTINELLI'S OUT TO DELIVER TROPHIES FOR GUNNERS FANS

GABRIEL MARTINELLI says Arsenal's trophy-hungry players are ready to deliver "big things" in the biggest season of their lives.

Arsenal are top of the Premier League, they have a 100 per cent record in the Champions League and are eyeing major silverware this season.

Martinelli also says that if winning the title and European glory was not motivation enough, then most of the squad are also driven by the chance of playing in next year's World Cup.

The Gunners have not won the title since the Invincibles season of 2004, they have never won the European Cup and Mikel Arteta's huge squad of international stars will surely never have a better chance.

Brazil star Martinelli said: "We really believe that we are going to achieve big things this season. We have an amazing group with really good players so we trust in ourselves.
