Sweet compliment from TV star
A MIDLAND hotel owner's cupcake-style wedding venue has caused quite a stir with TV architect George Clarke.
Stephen Cuddy shelled out £25,000 to create the building at Grimscote Manor Hotel in Coleshill.
And the sweet creation caught the eye of the face of TV’s Amazing Spaces, who has lauded it as one of his favourite buildings to be featured on the Channel 4 show
Stephen managed to create the “world’s biggest cupcake” in just four months, on top of a stable roof at his hotel.
One standout feature is its unsupported dome ceiling - drawing amazing parallels with the Pantheon in Rome or London's St Paul's Cathedral.
