Impressive Citroen e-C5 Aircross ups green credentials by using crushed grapevines

S there such a thing as one upmanship in recycling? I have known cars with interiors made from plastic bottles, sliced up dashboards and even jeans.

The new Citroen e-C5 Aircross, however, has door panels made of 20 per cent crushed grapevine - well it is a French car after all.

This new second generation e-C5 Aircross is an interesting car because it comes at a really good price for a legacy car brand starting at £32,565.

But for the first time the lineup includes a series of all-electric cars in all three trims You! Plus and Design.

These can be specified with a normal 73kWh battery offering 323miles. Citroen call this their Comfort range.
