ANNA SOROKIN

ALSO known as Anna Delvey, the cash-strapped Russian-born conwoman posed as an heiress and wormed her way into the New York upper classes between 2013-17.

She defrauded major financial institutions, banks, hotels and individuals out of £200,000 before being rumbled.

Her story was told in the Netflix series Inventing Anna, starring Julia Garner.

NICK LEESON

THE rogue trader who brought down one of Britain's oldest merchant banks.

Working out of Barings Bank's Singapore office, Leeson made fraudulent investments which left his employers facing an £827million loss, from which it collapsed in 1995.

He served four years in jail and featured in a film, played by Ewan McGregor.
